Polo 77TSI Repainting | Where to go?

    Hi guys,

I'm new to the forum and today threw down a deposit on a new Polo 77TSI.

I picked the color red as out of the base colors i thought looked the best only because i want to get the car repainted when i receive it.

I would like to know where you guys would recommend i go in Sydney for a high quality paint job? I don't want anything fancy, i just want a nice Blood Orange/Hot Orange color.

    Thanks in advance!

    Addel.

Good lord! that's a very loud colour, seems similar to the Ford Focus sport version a couple of years back.

Each to their own taste, but this is not to my liking. I'd rather keep the red OEM paintwork and spend the same money on brakes or tuning or wheels etc etc.

I've taken your word Frostee. Now i'm tossing up between Pearl Black or Pepper Grey....

I'm definitely giving this baby an ECU tune and probably buy a new suspension kit.

I see you've purchased a Panoramic Sunroof, do you know if this option is available for the 77TSI? If so, i may just go with that too

Repainting your car would lower it's resale value by a large amount unless you plan on keeping it forever -especially in a non-factory colour. Potential buyers will think that you are trying to hide some previous damage.

Have you considered wrapping the whole car in coloured vinyl? Not only will it be cheaper, you will also be protecting the paint underneath.

I was tossing up between pepper grey and black as well but when I saw pepper grey in the flesh I was sold it just looks so striking and prestigious it makes my car feel alot more expensive than it is

x2. If it was my car and I wanted a colour change, I would seriously consider vinyl warpping purely for resale purposes in the future.

Sure is. I've ordered a TSI with the panoramic sunroof. It's $1,700 rrp but you can negotiate on that. Bear in mind that if you want a sunroof, be prepared to wait a long time. I ordered in March this year and was told delivery end of year/next year because of the sunroof. However, I was very lucky to have been given build week 21. The salesman was absolutely shocked and triple checked the build date and that it definitely included the sunroof. He's still telling people they will have to wait a year for the sunroof option.
